Wembley Golf Course
Our project saw the replacement of the existing tavern, kiosk and change room facilities with a range of hospitality offerings, function spaces, new change rooms and flexible retail spaces.
“Our design embraces the fantastic views over the course and makes use of the topography to create an arrangement of simple architectural forms.”
Key considerations for the design were to improve the entry sequence to the precinct and to unify the buildings on a central axis to enhance the legibility of the development.
This approach creates a strong identity for the development, whilst not competing with the existing facilities and external zones that were completed as part of the Stage 1 works.

This project received the Gil Nicol Award for Commercial Architecture at the 2017 AIA (WA) Awards.
