Australian Fine China Master Plan
In association with Taylor Burrell Barnett Planners and Ecotect Architects, Gresley Abas Architects were engaged by the Subiaco Redevelopment Authority to produce a ‘world’s best’ sustainable development master plan for the prominent 4Ha Australian Fine China site on Hay Street in Subiaco. The proposal is unique to the site, with the development of a diverse range of sustainable building prototypes designed to inform the master plan while retaining and recycling the existing factory into housing units.
Our team was conscious of carefully balancing the triple bottom line in designing a vibrant and thriving urban mixed-use development— creating significant residential and commercial opportunities within a carefully landscaped environment.
